Project Polaris Completion

DSC00325 (3)

We are delighted to confirm the timely and successful completion of Project Polaris for the University of Sheffield.

This Victorian property on Claremont Crescent in Sheffield has been comprehensively and sympathetically refurbished and extended to form a new image processing laboratory for Pulmonary, Lung and Respiratory Imaging Sheffield (POLARIS).

The Academic Unit of Radiology in the University’s Department of Cardiovascular Science, one of key research groups contributing to the recently established Insigneo Institute for in silico Medicine, is internationally leading in the research and development of technology for clinical lung imaging with hyperpolarised gases and proton MRI which provide very detailed images of patient’s lungs without relying on X-rays radiation.

We would like to take the opportunity of thanking the Client, Main Contractor, Newell’s Projects Limited, Consulting Engineers, WYG, and Project Managers, Mascot Management for their valued business and help and assistance whilst work was in progress.
